Our suggested age for Knife Skills is 10 years old. Parents can use their judgement on younger Jr. Chefs but anyone under 8 requires an adult with them at the station. Parents may stay or leave. 1 Chef and 1 Assistant Chef per 8 children.

We always have a 2 staff people per 8 students and we strive to keep eyes on your child to keep them safe. You will be asked to sign a waiver for their safety acknowledging that you think their maturity level can handle learning Knife Skills.

Our knives are sharp but a little smaller for the Jr. Chef.

We will learn the proper way to hold a Chef Knife, Safety with a Knife and how to cut a variety of fruits and vegetables. A simple stir fry will end our class.
